Caffeine + snotty cold interview
Dennis Howlett, a blogger for ZDNet and Enterprise Irregular, shot some video of me yesterday, while we grabbed a coffee. It was the first time I had met Dennis. In person, that is–we’ve chatting on the phone and via Twitter but Dennis lives in Spain, so it was very cool to meet him in person.
Dennis asked me about the differences between the online community market and the enterprise internal collaboration market and how they’re effecting each other. Before I knew it, he had captured six minutes of my blabbing. Later he told me that he tried editing it in iMovie08 and that it took forever and was crap compared to the previous version. I’ve had the same experience. Apple hosed iMovie08. Anyway, here you go.
Maybe I should stay away from the caffeine.

Nice Starbucks placement.
Insightful as always!
Nice to see you in action outside the office and that you keep it consistant.
Totally agree on iMovie. The new one blows.
I’m thrilled you can’t see snot coming out of my nose. Big win.
I like the insidious (in a good way - ok “viral”) approach to business adoption here. Take a page out of Cher Point’s playbook, but offer an elegant community solution instead.
“Once they SEE it…” <– exact experience I had. Checkmarks in vendor comparison column fodder don’t really tell the story.
