How I keep track of co-workers

Dennis Howlett’s post, “If you’ve not heard of RSS, you’re in the majority,” reminded me that it could be cool to share how I use the RSS feeds resident in Clearspace to keep track of the latest people-centric activity across Jive. Until we have a reader built into Clearspace, I use the NetNewsWire desktop reader to keep track of not only co-workers but a ton of blogs and custom, Yahoo pipes-built intelligence feeds. Anyway, this really short video gives you a flavor for how easy it is for me to zoom through the latest posts, comments, and participation from colleagues inside Jive. I couldn’t show you too much of the actual content, otherwise you’d see posts like, “Our hostile takeover of Microsoft.”

I’m in your reader! Woooo! I feel so famous right about now. I love rss so much and I wish everyone could just understand how handy it is. Checking your rss reader is more exciting then checking your email was back when THAT was cool.

What say you about all of this?
