Probably one of my favorite things about Jive
Is just how customer-centric the company of people really are. Most of this heritage actually comes from our roots in community software development (open source), where working with outsiders is critical to the health of the product.
One of my least favorite things
Is listening to our industry echo-chamber contemplate its navel. There’s always a lot of theorizing about who’s leading, how many people are actually using business social software, and what they’re using it for.
Yesterday, we launched Clearstep
Clearstep is our 5th community (we have one for Developers, one for our open-source project, a Partner community and a Support community). What I love about it is that it’s for people who are really leading these efforts at their company. I also love that it’s not just about Jive and our products. Already, they’re sharing an amazing amount of information and providing substantial value to the rest of us. Check out the write up about it on ReadWriteWeb.
